NATIONAL TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
- Recorded a career-best two-assist performance in the USMNT's 2-1 win over Australia on Oct. 14, 2025 in Commerce City, Colo., setting up Haji Wright's opener in the 33rd minute and Wright's 80th-minute game-winner.
- Member of the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup-winning squad, contributing two assists in the tournament — setting up Daryl Dike in the 6-1 group-stage win over Martinique on July 15 and Matthew Hoppe's 83rd-minute game-winner in the 1-0 quarterfinal victory over Jamaica on July 25.
- Named to the USMNT roster for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, advancing with the team to the Round of 16.
- Made USMNT debut on July 12, 2017, starting in a 3-2 win over Martinique at the Concacaf Gold Cup in Tampa, Fla.
2026 FIFA WORLD CUP CYCLE
- Called into the USMNT for September, October and November 2025 camps, then again for the March 2026 friendlies vs. Belgium and Portugal in Atlanta.
- Logged 56 minutes across the two March 2026 matches, with two substitute appearance in against Belgium and Portugal.
- Made the standout play of October 2025 with two assists in the 2-1 win over Australia on Oct. 14 in Commerce City, Colo.
- Appeared in the USMNT's 2-0 win over Japan on Sept. 9, 2025 in Columbus, Ohio.

- Selected by Seattle Sounders FC with the 16th overall pick in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft and has made 400+ all-competition appearances for the club.
- Captain of the Sounders and was named to the 2025 MLS Best XI for the first time after starting 30 of 31 regular season matches with one goal and nine assists.
- Two-time MLS Cup champion with Seattle, lifting the trophy in 2016 and 2019.
- Won the 2022 Concacaf Champions League (CCL) with the Sounders, defeating Pumas UNAM 5-2 on aggregate in May 2022 — the first CCL title by an MLS club.
- Captained the MLS All-Stars in the 2021 MLS All-Star Game.
- Played at the University of Washington from 2013-14, making 42 appearances and helping the Huskies to the 2013 Pac-12 title; named Soccer America National Freshman of the Year in 2013.
PERSONAL
- Native of Pico Rivera, Calif., where he attended El Rancho High School and was named the 2013 National High School Player of the Year after a 54-goal, 31-assist senior season.
- Son of Cesar (a native of Guatemala) and Ana (a native of El Salvador) Roldan; was eligible for the senior teams of both Guatemala and El Salvador before choosing the United States.
- Has two brothers — older brother Cesar, who has worked as a trainer with the LA Galaxy, and younger brother Alex, his Seattle Sounders teammate who plays internationally for El Salvador.
- Married to wife Ciana Baron, a physician's assistant.
- Opened a community futsal field in his hometown of Pico Rivera in April 2022 to give back to the neighborhood that raised him.
