NaTIONAL TEAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • After debuting in 2015, she has consistently shown her value to the USWNT while playing several number of positions on the back line and earning spots on the last two U.S. Women’s World Cup Teams.
  • Started and played the full 90 minutes in the win over Mexico at 2022 Concacaf Women’s Championship and played a key role in the USA’s game-winning goal in the 89th minute with the initial header on frame that sparked a rebound for Kristie Mewis to follow up and finish.
  • She followed that game up with another 90-minute effort on July 14 against Costa Rica and scored her first career goal in the 34th minute, that coming in her 69th career cap. Only Kate Markgraf (193 caps before her first goal) waited longer before scoring her first goal for the USWNT.
  • Named to her first Olympic Team in 2021 and played in three matches in Japan.
  • When she earns her 75th cap, she will become one of 51 players to do so in USWNT history.

PREVIOUS WORLD CUP EXPERIENCE

  • A member of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup champions, she played in one match in France, coming on at the end of the USA’s second Group F match vs. Chile.

CLUB HIGHLIGHTS

  • Currently with OL Reign, where she has featured quite frequently in the midfield, in 2021, she had a stellar season with the Washington Spirit in her first year with the club, playing 1,263 minutes in 15 matches with 14 starts. Her play in the back played a major role in the Spirit finishing third in the league despite two forfeits due to COVID, and then winning three playoff games to take the championship and bring the first trophy to the club
  • The #1 pick in the 2016 Draft appeared by the Portland Thorns, she appeared 72 regular season games over four seasons, starting all but one, with six goals and two assists.
  • In 2002, she signed with Koppersberg/Goteborg in Sweden for the end of the season and ended up playing in 11 matches, starting nine, while helping the club to its first Damallsvenskan title.
  • She also played in 2017 on loan to Sydney FC in Australia, helping the team to the Grand Final.

  • Twin sister Emma played soccer at Georgia.
