- The son of Alfredo Zendejas and Mónica Saavedra, with older siblings Ana Lucía and Alfredo Jr.
- Born in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, but moved with his family to El Paso, Texas at roughly six months old, where he grew up playing in local recreational leagues before joining the FC Dallas youth academy at age 13.
- Parents are originally from Toluca, Estado de México.
- Speaks Spanish and English fluently.
- Held FIFA eligibility for both the United States and Mexico before completing his one-time switch to the U.S. in March 2023.
