CHICAGO (January 19, 2015) – U.S. Women’s National Team midfielder Megan Rapinoe will be sidelined for several weeks due to an injury sustained in training during the USA’s January event in Carson, Calif. 

Rapinoe, who has earned 96 caps for the USA, strained a ligament in her right knee and has left camp and returned home to continue her rehabilitation, leaving the USA with 29 players for the final week of training.
