Fresh off Wednesday’s draw which determined the USMNT’s schedule for the Final Round of 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifying, U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Gregg Berhalter joins the show to talk the road ahead with Charlie Davies.

Berhalter hit on what he liked about the draw, the challenges that the end of the schedule presents, his thoughts on venue selection for home matches and remembered one of the perilous moments he faced in qualifying during his playing career.

The USMNT head coach then discusses how he and his staff have continued to work with players despite the COVID-19 pandemic, what he took away from his time at the MLS Is Back Tournament, how he decided to go into coaching and reminisces on that incredibly unfortunate Torsten Frings’ handball during the 2002 FIFA World Cup Quarterfinals…

Lastly, after Charlie grilled Gregg on “The Hot Seat”, the USMNT head coach turned the tables and threw a question to Charlie about the great news he received earlier this week.
