CHICAGO (June 16, 2021)—As the U.S. Women’s National Team prepares for this summer’s delayed Tokyo 2020 Olympics, AT&T, the official 5G wireless network of U.S. Soccer, is bringing a new level of interactivity to fans with its “Pose with the Pros On the Go” digital experience. The program connects fans with USWNT stars, allowing fans to take augmented reality photos with their favorite U.S. players from the comfort of their own homes.
The experience combines AT&T’s technology and innovation with the star power of the USWNT. Fans can take photos with virtual versions of U.S. players and share them on social media as the team gears up for the Olympics in Japan. While AT&T has previously produced the “Pose with the Pros” experience in stadiums, “On the Go” initiative brings the experience directly to the USA’s dedicated fans, bringing them closer to the action and the players they love.
The USWNT will close out the 2021 WNT Summer Series, presented by AT&T 5G tonight in Austin, Texas, taking on Nigeria at the new Q2 Stadium. Broadcast coverage begins at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
