U.S. National Team legends Christie Pearce Rampone, Steve Cherundolo and Carlos Bocanegra will be officially inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 2 when the annual induction ceremony is held at the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Frisco, Texas.
Pearce Rampone and Cherundolo are joined in the Hall of Fame Class of 2021 by four-time Major League Soccer champion Jaime Moreno and longtime MLS executive Kevin Payne. Bocanegra and Colin Jose Media Award Winner Andrés Cantor were recognized by the Hall of Fame in 2020 but saw their ceremony postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2021 National Soccer Hall of Fame Weekend festivities kick off on Friday, October 1 with the induction ceremony beginning at 12:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, October 2. The event will be available for viewing via livestream through the Hall of Fame YouTube channel. Along with the induction ceremony, the Hall of Famers will also be recognized at halftime of the MLS Hall of Fame match between FC Dallas and Minnesota United FC (8 p.m. ET on ESPN+).
