ATLANTA (Jan. 16, 2025) – U.S. Women’s Beach Soccer National Team head coach Morgan Church has selected a 14-player roster for the team’s upcoming international training camp to be held January 21-28 in Nassau, Bahamas.
During the camp, the Beach WNT will play its first-ever international friendlies, taking on the Bahamas Women’s Beach Soccer National Team in three matches on January 25 (3 p.m. local time), January 26 (7 p.m. local time) and January 27 (7 p.m. local time) at Malcom Park Beach Soccer Stadium. The training and matches will serve as important preparation for the team as it turns its focus to the inaugural 2026 Concacaf W Beach Soccer Championship.
“We’re excited to begin the new year with a purposeful camp that immediately challenges us against an organized Bahamas side,” Church said. “These three games, along with our training sessions, will allow us to put our work into action, measure our progress and sharpen the details that will matter most later in the year. We’re thankful to Bahamas for their hospitality and look forward to growing together through this experience.”
Thirteen of the 14 players return from October’s training camp in Huntington Beach, Calif, including recently crowned U.S. Soccer’s 2025 Female Beach Soccer Player of the Year, veteran Jeané Sunseri-Warp (San Jose, Calif.). Also returning are 2021 and 2022 Player of the Year Ali Hall (Chicago, Ill) and 2023 and 2024 honoree Hannah Adler (Santa Barbara, Calif.).
After missing out in October, Vanessa Valentine (San Diego, Calif.) will also rejoin the team in the Bahamas.
This camp is a key component of the U.S. Way philosophy, which prioritizes strategic investment in resources, infrastructure, and holistic support for the Federation’s Extended National Teams —including the Beach Soccer National Teams — to ensure they are equipped to compete and succeed at the highest levels of international play.
