ATLANTA (April 30, 2026) — For the first time, U.S. Soccer will turn its Men’s World Cup roster reveal into a live fan celebration from New York City, bringing supporters directly into one of the most anticipated moments in the sport. Fans will be the first to welcome the 26 players selected by Coach Mauricio Pochettino, who will all represent the United States in the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup when they are introduced live on FOX in a nationally televised event on Tuesday, May 26, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. The event which is free to attend will serve as both a celebration and rallying moment as the team enters its final preparations for the Men’s World Cup.
The event builds on U.S. Soccer’s “Never Chase Reality” campaign, an invitation for players and fans alike to push beyond expectations and reimagine what’s possible on the world stage through hard work, determination and an unyielding belief.
The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City’s historic South Street Seaport will become the epicenter of U.S. Soccer fandom for the day, set against the East River, Brooklyn Bridge and Lower Manhattan skyline. With support from the FIFA World Cup 2026™ New York New Jersey Host Committee, the free fan celebration will blend the energy of New York City with the anticipation of a home FIFA World Cup™.
Fans will experience live music, immersive soccer activations, and partner integrations. The day will build toward the first-ever live introduction of the 26-player roster as the team begins its final run to its opening match against Paraguay on Friday, June 12.

What Fans Can Expect
The surrounding Seaport neighborhood will transform into a festival environment celebrating the culture and creativity of American soccer. Fans can explore the open-air design and waterfront views through a connected flow of programming, including food and beverage offerings, live entertainment, and partner activations that bring them closer to the team and the moment. In addition, there will be a Q&A session with Rand Getlin, co-founder of Park Stories and co-director of the HBO Original Sports Documentary Series U.S. AGAINST THE WORLD: FOUR YEARS WITH THE MEN’S NATIONAL SOCCER TEAM, debuting May 12 on HBO and available to stream on HBO Max. Exclusive access opportunities will be available for Premium Insiders and supporter groups.
The fan celebration will run from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET and will lead directly into a special live roster reveal show airing exclusively on FOX from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. ET. The broadcast will be hosted by U.S. Soccer legends and FOX Sports broadcasters Alexi Lalas, Stu Holden, Carli Lloyd, Rob Stone, Jenny Taft, Landon Donovan and feature additional celebrity appearances.
With the FIFA World Cup™ returning to U.S. soil for the first time in 32 years, U.S. Soccer, working with M&C Saatchi North America, is creating moments that bring fans closer to the team and elevate the sport’s place in American culture. As part of that journey, “Never Chase Reality” reflects the mindset driving this group, embracing possibility, challenging expectations, and inspiring a new generation of fans and players. The live roster reveal marks a new chapter in how fans connect with the team, building pride, belief, and momentum ahead of global competition.

To build early excitement, the Official U.S. Soccer Store presented by Visa will host a retail pop-up at Grand Central Terminal. The limited time retail experience will feature customization opportunities, including player jersey personalization and a Pro Standard patch activation, alongside limited-edition NYC-inspired merchandise and exclusive benefits for Visa cardholders. The collection will feature products from Nike, Levi’s, Pro Standard, New Era, and more. Located at 89 E 42nd St, New York, NY 10017, the pop-up will run from May 25 through June 28, with hours of operation from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays, and 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on U.S. Men’s National Team Group Stage matchdays (June 12, June 19, and June 25).
Fans can see the USMNT World Cup team against Senegal on May 31 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. and Germany on June 6 in Chicago, Ill.
