U.S. Soccer and Men’s National Team head coach Mauricio Pochettino will announce the 26-player roster that will represent the Stars & Stripes in FIFA World Cup 2026™ in a nationally televised, fan-first event in New York City.
The players will be introduced live on FOX on Tuesday, May 26, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. The broadcast will be hosted by U.S. Soccer legends and FOX Sports broadcasters Alexi Lalas, Stu Holden, Carli Lloyd, Rob Stone, Jenny Taft, Landon Donovan and feature additional celebrity appearances.
Following the announcement, the team will fly to the Arthur M. Blank National Training Center in Fayette County, Ga. to prepare for its final two non-official matches before the sport’s biggest tournament.
Fans can see the newly announced roster for the first time against Senegal on May 31 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. The USMNT follows it with a meeting against four-time World Cup winners Germany on June 6 in Chicago, Ill.
Tuesday’s event at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City’s historic South Street Seaport builds on U.S. Soccer’s “Never Chase Reality” campaign, an invitation for players and fans alike to push beyond expectations and reimagine what’s possible on the world stage through hard work, determination and an unyielding belief.
