The U.S. Men’s National Team begins its new chapter under head coach Mauricio Pochettino this month as the squad prepares for four international matches during the FIFA window.
Here’s everything you need to know about the September/October matches:
Who is the USMNT playing during this window?
The USMNT begins the four-match slate against Peru on Sept. 26 at Inter.co Stadium in Orlando, Fla., before taking on Chile on Sept. 29 at Energizer Park in St. Louis, Mo.
The team then faces Concacaf foe Mexico on Oct. 3 in Glendale, Ariz. at State Farm Stadium in the 80th meeting all-time between the two North American rivals. The USMNT closes the camp on Oct. 6 against Canada at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minn.
The matches give fans in four cities that did not host FIFA World Cup 2026 matches a chance to cheer on a U.S. team that inspired millions of Americans this summer. The unique four-match slate also providesmeaningful competition against two strong South American teams in Peru and Chile, in addition to fellow Round of 16 World Cup participants in Mexico and Canada.
Who will be competing for the USMNT during this window?
Pochettino last week named the 28-player roster for the upcoming matches, bringing together a group full of both experience and potential. Twelve players from the FIFA World Cup team will compete in the fall window, with a dozen prospects earning their first call-up to the U.S. Men’s National Team at the senior level. St. Louis City SC forward Damion Downs was a late addition to the roster after forward Ricardo Pepi withdrew due to injury.
True to the U.S. Way, the U.S. Youth National Teams have played a major role in the development on players both past and present, leading to younger players receiving opportunities to shine on the international stage. Five of the uncapped players named to Pochettino's roster were part of the 2025 U-20 FIFA World Cup (Cole Campbell, Zavier Gozo, Peyton Miller, Brooklyn Raines and Frankie Westfield) while three players were part of the 2025 U-17 FIFA World Cup (Mathis Albert, Julian Hall and Cavan Sullivan).
Where will these matches be broadcast?
USA-Peru, the Fan Appreciation match, kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET on TNT, truTV, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock. USA-Chile, the Impact Match presented by New York Life, kicks off at 7 p.m. CT (8 p.m. ET) on TNT, truTV, HBO Max, Universo, and Peacock.
USA-Mexico starts at 7 p.m. MT (10 p.m. ET) and will be broadcast on TNT, HBO Max, Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock. USA-Canada, presented by American Airlines, kicks off at 7 p.m. CT (8 p.m. ET), with the match shown live on TNT, truTV, HBO Max, Universo, and Peacock.

Are these the final USMNT matches of 2026?
No, the team will be back in action in the final international window of the year in November for the Concacaf Nations League Quarterfinal Round. U.S. Soccer recently announced that TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, will host the second leg of the quarterfinal series on Nov. 17. The first leg will be played on Nov. 14 away at an opponent to be determined following the conclusion of the Concacaf Nations League Group Stage League A fixtures in September and October.
Is there anything else to know about the upcoming matches?
Ahead of the Sept. 29 Impact Match against Chile, FIFA World Cup 2026 captain Tim Ream will be honored in his hometown. The St. Louis native has made 86 appearances with one goal and four assists in nearly 16 years with the USMNT.
The celebration will begin with the American Outlaws’ Night Before Party at Amsterdam Tavern, where Ream will participate in a Q&A session beginning at 8:30 p.m. CT, followed by match day activations and a pre-game recognition ceremony on the field with Ream. Learn more about the celebration here.
