In connection with the SheBelieves theme, the U.S. Women's National Team
will wear the names of iconic and influential women on the back of their
Nike jerseys when the USA faces England in the team's second game of the
2019 SheBelieves Cup.
Each member of the U.S. WNT – a ground-breaking group of women in their own
right – selected the name of a woman who has inspired them in their pursuit
of excellence both on and off the field. The women range from historic to
contemporary, hail from diverse backgrounds and champion a variety of
causes. A complete list of the women chosen by the players is below.

With starting goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher ruled out today with a minor
shoulder injury, Adrianna Franchmakes her first career
start in what will be her first career cap for the U.S. WNT. Franch,
the two-time reigning NWSL Goalkeeper of the Year and a member of the
USA’s 2010 U-20 Women’s World Cup Team, has trained at multiple camps
over the years and has been a part of the senior National Team pool
since 2012.

Kelley O’Hara
makes her second appearance of 2019. She did not play in either of the
January matches vs. France and Spain as she was still recovering from
ankle surgery. She will earn her 114th cap tonight. She played 45
minutes against Japan on Feb. 27 and exited in a planned substitution.

Abby Dahlkemper
will earn her 34th cap tonight in what will be her fourth consecutive
start of 2019. She’s played all 90 minutes in all three games so far
this year.

Tierna Davidson
makes her second U.S. WNT start since Sept. 4, 2018. Davidson suffered
a broken ankle late in 2018 which caused her to miss WCQ with the WNT
and the November friendlies in Europe. She returned to the roster for
the 2019 January training camp and played 82 minutes as a substitute
over the games vs. France and Spain. She will earn her 16th cap. She
played all 90 minutes vs. Japan on Feb. 27.

Crystal Dunn
will earn her 79th WNT cap tonight and makes her fourth consecutive
start of 2019.

Julie Ertz
makes her 76th international appearance. She has scored 18 career goals
and will make her third appearance and start of 2019.

Mallory Pugh
will earn her 47th cap of her WNT career. It will be her fourth
appearance and third start. She scored the USA goal vs. France on Jan.
19 in Le Havre. She has 13 career goals.

Rose Lavelle
will make her third start and appearance of 2019. It’ll be cap No. 23
for Lavelle. She’s scored six career goals.

Tobin Heath
will earn her 145th international appearance for the USA. Tonight, will
mark her third appearance and start of the year. In 2018, Heath scored
7 goals in only 10 appearances. She has scored 25 goals in her career.

Alex Morgan
scored 18 goals in 2018 and now has 99 career goals in 156 caps. At age
29, she sits in sole possession of seventh place on the USA's all-time
goal list. Morgan has scored 26 goals over her last 29 WNT matches, a
span that runs from the end of 2017. The 26 goals have included six
braces and one hat trick. Morgan will earn cap No. 157 tonight
surpassing Michelle Akers for 18th all-time in caps.

Megan Rapinoe
will earn cap No. 148 for the U.S WNT. She was the team-leader in
assists last year, earning 12 in 2018. She scored her 42nd career goal
vs. Japan on Feb. 27. She will captain the USA today.

Since the 2017 SheBelieves Cup, the USA has failed to score in just one
game (vs. Australia at the 2017 ToN). That’s a 35-game span.
