Starting Lineup:
-
Alyssa Naeher has 35 career shutouts and makes her 63rd appearance tonight. She is the third-most capped goalkeeper in USWNT history. She will be playing just over 70 miles from her hometown of Stratford, Conn.
-
Emily Sonnett makes her fourth start of the year and will earn her 45th cap as she sees her first action of the 2020 SheBelieves Cup.
-
Abby Dahlkemper will start the 53rd game of her 60 overall caps tonight. She played in all five games at Concacaf Olympic Qualifying, starting four, and played all 90 minutes vs. England on March 5.
-
Becky Sauerbrunn will make her 176th appearance for the USWNT tonight. She is the 16th female player in U.S. history to play 175 or more games and just the second among that group to play almost exclusively as a defender.
-
Crystal Dunn is the only player to start the first six games of the year and earns cap No. 103 tonight. She was the 39th player in USA history to reach the century mark and the New York native will be honored for the achievement before the match, which will be played about 45 miles for her hometown in Rockville Centre.
-
Julie Ertz made her 100th appearance for the USA on March 5 against England, becoming the 40th woman in USWNT history to hit the century mark. She will be honored for the achievement at a match later this year.
-
Rose Lavelle scored against Panama on Jan. 31 and against Mexico on Feb. 7 in Olympic Qualifying, and now has 12 international goals. She will make her 44th international appearance tonight in her 37th start. This tournament marks the third anniversary of her first USWNT cap which she earned on March 4, 2017 at the SheBelieves Cup against England.
-
Samantha Mewis earns her 66th cap. She scored four goals during Olympic qualifying, on braces against Costa Rica and Mexico, and has 18 international goals in her career. She came off the bench against England on March 5 but gets her first start of the tournament tonight.
-
Lynn Williams makes her fourth start of 2020 and will earn her 27th cap. She scored three goals with five assists in the Olympic Qualifying tournament, including the opening goal in the 3-0 win against Canada in championship game.
-
Carli Lloyd will play in front of her home state crowd as she earns her 293rd cap tonight, putting her seven short of becoming just the third player in U.S. history to reach 300 caps. Lloyd hails from Delran in South Jersey, about 70 miles from Red Bull Arena. She has scored five goals in her seven games under Vlatko Andonovski so far. Her 123 career international goals put her seven short of tying Kristine Lilly for third on the USWNT’s all-time goal scoring list.
-
Megan Rapinoe makes her third start of the year and first of the tournament after coming on in the second half against England. She has one goal and four assists so far this year, with the score coming against Canada in the Olympic Qualifying championship game. She will earn cap 167.
