ATLANTA (April 14, 2025) – U.S. Under-16 Girls’ National Team head coach Ciara Crinion has named 24 players for a training camp and two matches in Alicante, Spain with the trip running from April 15-21.
The USA will face Spain on Saturday, April 19 at Estadio Guillermo Amor before finishing the trip on Monday, April 21 at Estadio Olímpico Camilo Cano.
Crinion named 23 players born in 2009 with one, midfielder Loradana Paletta, born 2011. Paletta was the youngest player on the USA’s title-winning 2024 Concacaf Girls’ U-15 Championship team. All the U-16s are age-eligible for selection to the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup which will be staged in Morocco later this year.
The only professional player on the roster is forward and Utah native KK Ream, who plays for her home state Utah Royals and has seen 71 minutes of action in three matches so far in her rookie year.
Nine players on the roster for the Spain trip helped the USA win the 2024 Concacaf Girls’ U-15 Championship, including forwards Carolina Reyna, Maddie DiMaria and Deus Stanislaus, midfielders Mia Corona and Paletta, and defender Meila Brewer. Those players combined to score 16 goals in the tournament with a team-leading six coming from Reyna.
The other three players who helped lift the Concacaf trophy were goalkeeper defender Elena Vera, midfielder Taylor Morrell and Ream.
