ATLANTA (Nov. 13, 2025) – The U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team will come together for a training camp in Fayetteville, Ga., the future home of the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center, for a training camp running from Nov. 24-Dec. 1.
With the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup now complete, this group will focus on qualifying for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup as Ciara Crinion takes over as head coach of the U-17s while Katie Schoepfer moves to the U-16s and the group that will attempt to qualify for the 2027 FIFA U-17 WWC.
The primary birth year of this group is 2009 and Crinion has called in 21 players born in 2009 with two in 2010 and one in 2011. This is the second training camp for this age group of players at the U-17 level after transitioning from the U-16s this summer.
There were four players on the USA’s 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Team that fell in penalty kicks in the quarterfinal to eventual runners-up Netherlands that were born in 2009 and one that was born in 2010, making them age-eligible for the 2026 FIFA U-17 WWC. The only player on this roster with U-17 caps is midfielder Loradana Paletta, who has four. She is also the only player born in 2011 on this roster.
The camp is part of the Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for Youth National Teams to create more opportunities for young players to advance through the pathway to the senior National Team with the goal of representing their country at a world championship.
