Three Things to Watch
1. A new chapter
The USMNT opened the 2030 World Cup cycle on a winning note with a 4-1 victory over Peru in Orlando, Florida on Saturday. Eleven players made their debuts and the U.S. saw four different goal scorers.
2. New experiences
No player on the 28-man squad has faced Chile. The all-time series dates back to July 2, 1950 when the sides met in the FIFA World Cup, a 5-2 defeat for the U.S. in Brazil.
3. Tim Ream Celebration
A St. Louis, Mo. native and St. Louis University alum, Tim Ream will be recognized ahead of the match to celebrate his remarkable contributions to the program. The former USMNT captain spent more than 14 years with the USMNT and earned 86 caps.
